Pokemon GO Fest NYC 2024 has two Special Research quests: New York City Park Escapade and New York City Skies Special Research. Completing the quests rewards a Marshadow encounter, Solar Fusion Energy, Lunar Fusion Energy, and other in-game items. There is no expiry date for the tasks and rewards.

Members with a ticket to Pokémon GO Fest 2024: New York City can visit the Google Play Space on Randall's Island to go get rewarded.

Unfortunately, there is only a slim 1 in 64 chance to get a Shiny Ditto from any encounter involving the creatures mentioned in Pokémon GO. This may be one of the hardest Pokémon to find in the entire game, so you may need to seriously grind to add it to your collection.
