St. Louis, MO (June 15, 2024) – Michael West, aged 71, was fatally struck by an SUV on Friday, June 14, while walking in the westbound lanes of St. Charles Rock RD near N and S RD. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. in St. Louis County. West, a resident of St. Louis, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are investigating why West was in the roadway. Further details will be provided as the inquiry into the cause of the incident progresses.
